Seedance 2.0 pricing is based on four factors: input type, resolution (480p or 720p), aspect ratio, and video duration (4–15 seconds). Each combination has a fixed per-generation cost — no hidden fees or compute surcharges.
There are two pricing tiers based on input type:
- •Text / Image-to-video — generate from a text prompt or a reference image. Both use the same rate.
- •Video-to-video — generate using a reference video clip, approximately 39% cheaper than text/image input because the model has more visual context to work with.

- •Video-to-video billing: when using a reference video, the billed duration includes both the input video duration and the generated output. For example, a 3-second input clip + 5-second generation = 8 seconds billed at the video-to-video rate.
- •Duration scales linearly: a 10-second clip costs exactly 2× a 5-second clip at the same resolution and aspect ratio.
- •Aspect ratio impact is minimal — the real cost lever is resolution. Going from 480p to 720p more than doubles the cost.

- •480p for drafts, 720p for delivery: iterate quickly at 480p, render final cuts at 720p.
